Your Questions, Answered

  • I offer film and photography for families, in-home or as a location shoot. Families are provided with a private online gallery where they can easily download and share photos.

    • Mums on their Maternity Leave and who wish to capture the beauty of pottering around the home, raising their baby/ies.

    • Young families in the trenches who want to capture how little their kids still are - whether they’re 4 months or 9 years old.

    • Families who would like to capture time with an elderly family member, where capturing everyone at home is what is safest and more comfortable

    • Small family events, such as intimate birthday lunches that celebrate major life milestones (e.g. 90th birthday)

  • Booking a session is easy! Simply visit my Book a Session page and follow the prompts. A deposit is required on the day of booking, with the remainder due two days before the session is scheduled.

  • I am a Mum of three and I understand how difficult it can be to capture beautiful family photos that are candid and authentic. I also know how hard it is to dress the kids (and ourselves!) and get in the car to go somewhere, on a schedule, looking nice.

So, even though I do provide location shoots for those not comfortable for me to come to them, my main goal is to capture families in their homes doing all the things that make the day-to-day run. Because that’s what life looks like and they’re the things we are most likely to forget, but they’re also the moments we want to cherish.

What makes me different is that I want to show you how beautiful your lives are, where they are now, in the messy, difficult, intimate and wonderful moments of raising a family or caring for elderly relatives.

  • I am honest, and straightforward and I have a decent sense of humour. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease in my presence, as though I am a long-time friend coming for a quick visit.

I will help you style your house, in the moment and if/when needed. For example, shifting things out of shot, arranging things in the background, suggesting activities.

  • I recommend that you:

    • Give your house a general clean and tidy. It doesn’t have to be perfect - because life isn’t perfect and the goal is to capture your home. A normal clean and tidy like what you would do on a weekly basis is ok.

    • Choose two to three activities that you would regularly do with your children. E.g. baking, playing with trains/lego/magnetatiles/duplo, gardening together, throwing a footy or baseball, reading, music, painting. Prepare for these activities to be done together during the session.

    • Dress yourself/ves and your children nicely, in clean clothes. Alternatively, if you want me to capture them doing the everyday, such as playing in dirt, or gardening with you, then dress appropriately for that.
